HIGH SCHOOL:
I taught at social justice-oriented high schools during my graduate studies in San Francisco and Los Angeles. My subjects varied from digital media, teen sex education, and yoga classes at June Jordan School for Equity, LA CAUSA/ YouthBuild Charter High School, and The Academy for Multilingual Arts & Sciences.
YOGA:
I believe in whole body awareness and the connection between the mind and the body. I’m a Certified Yoga Instructor, focusing on health and wellness for communities of color. I’ve studied yoga across the United States and Mexico, and taught public classes in the following locations:
